What are Counter Display Units?

Counter display units are retail display units that are typically positioned on shop counters to stimulate impulse buys. These display stands are typically made from printed corrugated board, acrylic, sheet metal, steel wire, vacuum-formed plastic, or wood, or a combination of multiple materials.

Frequently, the choice of material is determined by how long the display unit will be stored. Because to its comparatively low cost and durability, printed corrugated board is more suitable for short-term promotional CDUs, but acrylic, metal, wood, etc. are more suitable for longer-term CDUs due to their better durability.
